Although New
Orleans is a coastal city, it's not on the coast. But it is
surrounded by water on three sides which keeps the weather more temperate than
you'd expect.
The warm weather in the Gulf and the frigid blasts from the
north fight it out in the spring, and it's unpredictable which
weather system will win on any particular day. So
bring
shorts and a jacket. You might need either one!
